How to Draw a Pinup

Start by drawing a small circle fro her head, and then draw in the guidelines for the face, neck, arm, and body. Once that is done move to step two.

Sketch out the shape of her face, and then draw in the beginning hairline like you see here.

Sketch in the eyes, nose, and then her mouth. Thicken the eye lids and make some pouting lashes as well.

Add some more detailing and definition to her face, and when you do so just add her eyebrows, more bangs, and then thicken the shape of her lips. Define her nose, and move to step five.

Finish drawing out her curly hairstyle and then draw out her arms and shoulders like you see here. See how pretty she is coming out so far?

Continue and finish drawing out her arms like so, and don't forget to sketch out her fingers. When that is all done, draw in her shirt which is tied in the front which will be shown in step seven.

AS you can see you will be drawing her shirt into a tied knot like so. Add some clothing detailing around the back of the shirt, and then add some detailing to her arm like so.

You will now begin sketching out her body starting with her waist, belly, and her leg in full form. Also, draw in her high heel shoe too.

Now draw out her other leg like so, and then be sure to draw in her foot too. Guess what, you are already almost done!

Add the shoe straps to her heeled shoes, and then draw the thigh high elastic straps. Draw the top band to her shorts, and then begin erasing the lines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.

This is what she looks like when you are all done. Now you can color her in and add some special tweaks of your own if you like. I hope you liked this tutorial on how to draw a pinup.

Description: I’m not going to say too much here about this lessons description because as you can see it’s just on another pinup girl. I wanted to make another tutorial on a more typical vintage style cover girl that is more likely to be seen on the posters from the fifties, and sixties. Anyways she is one of my favorite creations, and if you look real closely she sort of looks like the first pinup girl I uploaded today. This is the last female character I will be submitting because I know not everyone wants to follow these types of tutorials. Anyways, since I already talked about pinup girls and how they were and still are admired to this day, I will basically show you "how to draw a pinup", step by step. The instructions are going to be easy to follow which means you should have no problems completing the lesson at hand. You can make your pinup gal a brunette, blonde, redhead, or even a raven black mistress. I think you will enjoy this lesson, and if you want to see something posted on Dragoart just let me know.
