How to Draw a Lowrider

Step 1.


Start this step by drawing out the guidelines for the lowrider you will be drawing. The guidelines that you will be drawing should come out looking like a box shaped object like you see here. Once that is done you can draw the circle for the wheel an   

Step 2.


After your guidelines are drawn, you will start sketching in the cars body detailing. Start with the hood and then draw the outer frame for the windshield like you see here. Add lines for the drivers side door and then move to the next step after you   

Step 3.


You will mainly be sketching out the inside of the car by drawing the seats, rear-view mirror, steering wheel (which I knowingly placed on the right side), and then after that is done draw out the small windows, antenna, and the rest of the rear fe   

Step 4.


As you can see your lowrider is coming along nicely. Instead of drawing with your pencil i want you to sketch with your pencil when you start adding the shape and style of the front bumper. Once the bumper is drawn out you can add the headlight shape   

Step 5.


Well you have finally reached your last drawing step and what you have to do to make your lowrider complete, is finish sketching out the grill and then draw out the tire rims for both the front and back tires. Add some detailing lines for the hood    

Step 6.


Here is what your classic car should look like when you are done. Choose a color and shade it in. You have now finished learning "how to draw a lowrider car" step by step.

Description: There are so many popular cars out there that collectors turn into limited series by altering the body style. One particular altering style that has become insanely popular is turning your car, truck, or SUV into a lowrider. Lowrider style is when car owners install a modified suspension system that allows the automobile sit extremely low to the ground. In some cases a hydraulic system will be installed to enable the car or truck to go up or down by remote control. Although any vehicle can be turned into a lowrider, classic cars from the 60’s, 50’s, 40’s are the original ones that are altered. Certain cars from the 50’s already had a low riding body structure so they would only be altered with a mild tweak. One of my favorite cars from the early years is the 1964 Chevy Impala. I know what your thinking, this vehicle is so typical and favorite to many people. I don’t like it because it’s popular, I like the model because it is super classic looking and I love big cars that have structural detail. Oh my god, I totally forgot to tell you guys what this lesson will be on. I am going to teach you "how to draw a lowrider" step by step. When people say lowrider, the “R” is often said sounding like an “A”. So instead of hearing the “r”, the word ends up sounding like “lowrida”. The lowrider style was originally brought to the attention of pop culture America by the Mexican-Americans that lived in Los Angeles, and they were commonly known as “Chicanos”. Before anyone knew it, “lowriding” became an urban culturing phenomenon throughout California. Anyways, I hope you guys will like this tutorial. I spent an awful long time sketching it out for all of you to enjoy. I have to depart for a sec but I will return with one more tutorial for you all.
