How to Draw a Junkyard Dog, English Bulldog

1

We will begin the first step by drawing the head structure for this junkyard dog. He is a very muscular, block looking head. Don't forget to draw in the ears as well.

2

Here you will start sketching out the bulldog's face which is nicely detailed. As you can see the linings that you draw will create the bone structure for the dog's skull and face. Draw in the jaw line and then add detailing to the inside of the ears

3

You will finish the face by drawing the bottom part of the jaw, and then sketch in the bottom row of canine teeth. Add tongue and gum definition and then draw the top part of the neck line.

4

You will now draw in the black leather spiked dog collar. Take your time, it should be the width of the dog's neck.

5

Slowly start sketching out the bulldog's body starting with the crested chest shape and front leg. Sketch in all that muscle definition to the chest and leg as well as the shoulder.

6

Go ahead and draw the other front leg and paw. Don't forget to sketch in the muscle definition to the leg. Add the nails too to each toe.

7

We will proceed to sketch in more of the bulldog's body. This junkyard dog was created to scare away people from the junkyard so he has to look mean. Anyways, work on the back part of the body which is the back legs stomach and genitales. Sketch in t

8

Simply draw in the tail and then draw the back part of the body and the rest of the neck.

9

Draw in the leash and you're done. Erase the mistakes and guides.

10

That's it, you're done. Now go ahead and color in your drawing.

Description: Hey there people. I hope everyone has been enjoying their lives, I know for those of you who reside in the United States are preparing to celebrate the 4th of July which is only a week away. Well, this lesson has nothing to do with the 4th. Instead, I will be showing you guys how to draw a Junkyard dog, step by step. I got the idea for this lesson because I went to an old ragged junkyard the other day and there was this beautiful, big English Bulldog and he was wearing the typical black spiked collar and looked meaner than a mofo. I said to my friend, "wow, he is beautiful". So, this lesson is based on that dog, but I did add some exaggeration with the concept by adding unnatural muscles to his body physique, I thought it would be fun I mean after all, this is a concept creation. Go ahead and enjoy the tutorial, I will be back with more fun so stick around.
