Let's get started. Make the shape for the head, and another for the body and legs. Draw the square shape for the feet, then move to step two.

2

Begin sketching out the frog's body shape. Notice the lump on the back part of the head, then sketch out the stomach or underbelly.

3

Sketch out the front stubby arms or legs, followed by the frog feet. Notice the definition in the frogs arm.

4

Continue to work on the frog's body by finishing the body. Draw the butt part, as well as the extended leg and stretched foot.

5

Sketch out the other leg, then add the shape of the foot. Sketch the inner thigh detail as well.

6

Lastly, sketch in the frog's face starting with the eye. Then draw the mouth line, then sketch out the definition on the body. Erase the mistakes until you have a cleaned image to shade in.

7

Once all the shading has been added, you should have a finished drawing of a leaping or jumping frog.

Description: Back again with a another frog tutorial but this time it will be a sketched frog, and the title will be "how to draw a jumping frog", step by step. I have made so may lessons of drawing frogs so when I make another I have a problem with finding words to say. I do know what to say with this one because it's a new drawing style using a new drawing program. Jumping or leaping frogs can be pretty tricky to recreate because their bodies can be in different action poses. That is why this frog will be drawn from a side view so it will be easier to recreate. You will have to do your best with adding the shading to your finished frog, but I have faith that you will do a great job. Have fun people and remember to leave a comment, rating or fav this or any lesson you come by on Dragoart.com.
