How to Draw a Girl Profile

Step 1.


Begin with the face and head guide line so. Of course it is just one object.

Step 2.


You can begin drawing the profile of the face starting with the forehead, then move down the face and form the nose, lips and some of the chin.

Step 3.


We will now work on the face. Do this by first drawing and coloring in the eyebrows. When that is done you can draw in the eyes. Notice the beautiful long, thick lashes. Add the nostril and nose ring to.

Step 4.


We will now draw in the hairline. When that is done you can draw the shape of her ear, add the inner ear detailing and then draw the mouth and piercings.

Step 5.


Lastly, draw the long flowing hair which is wrapped around her face and head. Erase the guides and mistakes then draw the hair detailing.

Step 6.


Here is the line art folks. Just color her in and you are finished.

Description: I have done plenty of lessons on the profile of a face, but I don't think I ever did one on a girl's face exclusively. So here is another tutorial on how to draw a girl profile, step by step. Of course I wanted to make this an exciting or fun tut so I drew the girl with long flowing hair and some piercings. I actually have four piercings in my ear, a brow ring and a nose ring, which is why you are seeing that on this face profile. You can of course leave out the piercings and customize the drawing on someone you know, or just as a concept character.
