How to Draw Face and Hair

Step 1.


Draw the actual guide shape for the head and then sketch in the face and neck guides.

Step 2.


Next, draw in the profile of the face which is just the forehead, nose, lips and chin. Also draw the jawline structure.

Step 3.


We will now draw the eyes. Notice they are along and batty. Add the crease to the eyelid and then draw the eyebrow. Once that is taken care of you can draw in the mouth or lips and then add the nostril for the nose.

Step 4.


Let us now draw the hairstyle. As you can see she has layers of hair strands that create a full and playful look.

Step 5.


Draw in more of her hair and then draw the ear, and hoop earring.

Step 6.


Add strand lines to the hairstyle and you are ready to call this drawing finished. Erase the mistakes and guides.

Step 7.


Here is the line art. Now you can color in the drawing the way you like.

Description: Here is a really nice and pretty lesson that will show you folks out there how to draw face and hair, step by step. This is a really simple tutorial to tackle so I'm confident that anyone who tackles it will do great. I know there are a lot of people out there that want more lessons on drawing faces and hair, so here is one on a specific face and hairstyle. Of course you can change the hairstyle and make it the way you like, and same goes with the face. Anyways, go ahead and get busy. I have more tuts that I have to submit so stick around for those.
