Drawing a Mutant Chick

Begin with two shapes for the mutant chick's body. Add the facial guidelines and you are done for this step.

Begin drawing the chick's head shape which is basically defined lining. When that is done you can draw the large eyes and small pupils.

Here in the third step you will draw out the beak. As you can see the beak is jagged and there is a pointed tongue sticking out.

Let's draw the chick's wings which at this point look featherless. Add the blistering puss bubbles all over the body and then add the veins in the eye to make the eye look like it's bulging out.

Add stress lines under the eye and then draw the uneven lining for the cracked egg shell.

For the last drawing step just draw the feet or talons and then color in some shadowing inside the shell where the legs are coming out of. Erase the mistakes and guides.

When all is said and done your drawing of a mutant chick. Now all you have to do is color in your drawing and be on your way.

Description: I'm going to shy away from the Easter lessons for a sec and upload a couple on some mutant animals starting with this one on drawing a mutant chick, step by step. The whole reason why I decided to make this drawing is because I wanted to do some crazy mutant art inspired by an old movie I watched the other day called 'The Fly' starring Jeff Goldblum and Gina Davis. This mutant chick is gross in every way. Anyways, have fun and don't forget to let me know what you think.
