How to Draw a Cool Tattoo
Artist:
Dawn
/ October 6, 2010
Step 1.
Ok, like I start off with most of my work, you must first draw a basic foundation for the simple shape of the tattoo. You can format any type of tattoo embedded inside the base of the spider, it's totally up to your factor of creativity.

Then, work on the outside shape! This should be drawn with intentions of patience. Things can get sloppy around the head area. Start off by drawing the head and work your way up to the abdomen.

Step 3.
Next, work on other inside details for the spider. You can stylize your own type of teeth or whatnot. The legs should reach a few inches from the body. As you can see, the legs to the far right get smaller with each leg. This is perspective working i
ts magic on the angle you're viewing the tattoo.

Step 4.
This part is totally optional. Define the flow of the outer tribals to give the overall tattoo a sense of 'action'. If you haven't noticed, the outside tribals loosely shape hands for the face. The more creativity you splatter into your drawings, the
more attractive and remembering it will appear.

Step 5.
Lastly, this is what your final inked drawing should resemble. You can go all out and design your own type of spider tattoo for this matter. All I can say is reference from other styles of artists, observe different ways tattoos are made from the pro
s. Most of an artist's life is always observational and experiment. I'd advise you to get all the levels of inspiration to build up those creativity skills. Thanks folks for viewing this lesson, I hope it has taught you something!

Description:
Hey folks, just quickly submitting a cool tutorial I whipped up yesterday. In this lesson, you'll be learning β
how to draw a cool tattoo
, step by stepβ. I'm not sure if you noticed, but encrypted in the spider is a wacky face with a mouth, ascending tongue, and a lower jaw. I tried to do a type of mind trick with the lower part of the spider's face. I guess from listening to too much Pink Floyd, you come out with strange results...haha. I have to go draw LIVE in a few minutes, so I'll write more about this later! Thank you so much for viewing folks!
