Description: Hey guys this is Dawn here with another great tutorial on something I know you've been waiting a while for. I haven't done any tattoo drawings for a while so I decided to put one up. Tribal designs are one of my favorite things to draw. I thought maybe drawing tribal dragons would be a real treat for all you dragon lovers. Learning "how to draw tribal designs step by step" can be really easy accomplish when you spend the time and patience on this drawing. If I were an artist in the novice area of expertise on drawing tribal tattoos, I would practice on different types of tribals. Anyways, inspiration struck me when I was searching the site for some tribal dragons. I came across a few tribals but I wanted to make another one since people who come here are mainly fantasy and anime artists. This drawing took me an hour and a half overall. Time was spent on areas that really needed the attention most. I recommend using some soft HB pencils to get the core sketch done. Afterwards, you can use a darker pencil for the final lines. You could possibly do the same with a black micron pen if you wanted. When you ink things out, make sure you take the time to do so. Drawing tribal dragons needs a lot of attention in the head area. This is where the viewer’s attention will be attracted to. Time and patience should be guided to style of the dragon that’s being turned tribal. Start with the shape of the dragon first and then the body overall. Well peeps, it’s time for me to leave. I have limited time on this library computer so things are pretty tight here for tutorial writing. Adios amigos and have fun drawing!
