Let's begin by drawing some basic guidelines and shapes which will aid us to draw our chick egg. Two circles, one for head and another for the body.

2

Next, using the head guide, draw the shape of half an egg shell which has the serrated edging because it is cracked.

3

You will now just draw in the cracks over the shell and then draw the edges for the shell on the opposite side. This will make the shell look dimensional.

4

We will work on drawing the chick's body. Start with the chest and then the mid section and finally the thighs. Add some fluff to the chest too.

5

We will now draw the wings and notice that the lining is uneven because we want texture to the wings for the feathers.

6

For the last drawing step all you will have to do is draw the legs and chicken feet. You can erase the mistakes and guides to clean up the drawing.

7

When all is said and done your drawing of a chick egg should come out looking like the art you see here. All that is left to do now is coloring it in.

Description: So this is a cute, but different lesson that can either be used for Easter, or just to use as a cool drawing for any occasion. Up next we will learn how to draw a chick egg or a chick in an egg, step by step. This is the first lesson made by me with an egg over the head of the chick. No head is shown, instead the picture or drawing shows the newly hatched chick trying to shake off the egg shell from it's head. The concept is simply adorable and I think many of you will have fun drawing this chick egg. Of course you can add what you would like to customize the concept even more. But for me I just like to keep it simple so everyone can tackle the task of drawing a chick egg. I shall be back with one more drawing tutorial that may or may not be Easter related.
