How to Draw an Easter Chick

Artist: Dawn / March 21, 2015

Step 1.

This lesson is so simple, there is no need for guidelines. Begin by drawing a circle shape and then add the tuft of feather on the head.

Step 2.

Up next, draw the large shapes for the chick's eyes, then add the brow lines. Notice how the lining for the eyes are not meeting, that is done for a reason so be sure your eyes are the same way.

Step 3.

Finish the eyes and then draw a small beak for the chick.

Step 4.

You will now draw in the chicken feet and as you can see there are a total of four toes.

Step 5.

Draw in the half shell that the chick is sitting in, then draw the shoulders. If you are happy with your results you can start erasing your mistakes.

Step 6.

That's it, here is the line art people. Now have fun coloring in your Easter chick.

Description: I just felt the need to make another Easter related lesson that was cute and easy to replicate. Up next, we will learn how to draw an Easter chick, step by step. One of three animals are often given around Easter time resulting them as widely recognized during the Spring holiday and they are; ducklings, baby chickens or chicks, and bunnies. Don't be surprised to see tutorials on the other two animals associated with Easter, but for now enjoy drawing an Easter chick.
