How to Draw a Caveman

Step 1.


Draw a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. Draw out the squared torso shape and then draw out the limb line as seen here.

Step 2.


Now you will start to sketch out the massive hair coverage that the cavemen have on their rough looking faces. The whole point is to make them look as primitive as possible.

Step 3.


Okay, now draw out the big looking eyes using the facial guidelines, and then add eyelids and pupils. Draw a small nose and a frowned mouth with a tooth for an under bite. Draw out the shape of his arms and then draw the jagged line for his primitive   

Step 4.


All you will do here is decorate and draw out the rest of the lining for his caveman clothes. Draw some markings on his clothes and then add a bit of detail to his hand.

Step 5.


This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is draw out his stubby legs and short toes. Draw him a spear or a club in his left hand and then move to the next step.

Step 6.


Once you’re done you should end up with a drawing that looks like the one you see here. Color in your caveman and you are done learning how to draw a caveman step by step.

Description: Another very easy to learn from tutorial is what you will be shown next. I will teach you how to draw a caveman cartoon step by step. This drawing took me almost two hours to draw and another forty five minutes to color and shade in. Cavemen are one of the first living men on earth according to Darwin’s theory of evolution. To some, the very first human or man to walk upon the earth was Adam from the biblical tale of how the earth was created. There are also scientist that believe mankind evolved from animals monkeys and apes in particular. There is mixed emotion for me on whether or not I believe that because that would be saying that there is no God, and everything evolved from one and other right? Anyways, the caveman I am showing you how to draw today is very cute, cartoony, and dumb looking. He has hair growing all over his face and head, and because cavemen lacked the tools needed to take care of their teeth, I drew him with only one tooth overlapping his top lip. Cave men lived in caves and they made primitive tools like spears, clubs, cutting stones, and knives. Female cave dwellers were dragged by their hair into the caves with their husbands and they would bear many children. That is how tribes were formed and believe me there must have been lots of inbreeding. Anyways we have learned a lot from the men of the caves and there is a series of books that are available very informative on these first discovered humans. You will have a butt load of fun learning how to draw a caveman step by step. I will be back in a while with some other cool tutorials so try and keep up with me if you can. Peace out people.
