Step 1.
The first thing we need to do is draw a circle for the head of the insect, and then draw a horizontal line that starts inside of the circle for the face and body guide.

Step 4.
Draw out the worm like body and when you do this make some bumps for the top lining like so. Next, draw some dividing lines on the caterpillars body to give the insect some wiggle room.

Step 5.
And finally for the last step all you have to do is draw out the bumpy pattern under the body for the little legs, and then clean up the drawing because this was your last drawing step.

Description:
Well gang let’s get started with some drawing fun as we tackle some really cool tutorials for the thirteenth day of December. I have some pretty awesome tutorials for you all but before I get to the good stuff; I figured that I would submit some of the easy lessons first. So to start things off, how about we learn how to draw a caterpillar for kids, step by step? Caterpillars are fun insects to gaze at and study because they come in all sizes, shapes and colors. As you know they either transform into beautiful butterflies or moths. The caterpillar that I drew for you guys is a basic design concept that I’m sure everyone will love. It consists of making a few circles, some legs, eyes, and a really awesome design pattern. Well I guess that’s about it for now or at least for this tutorial. I will be back, as you know, with more drawing fun so try and stay tuned in to see what comes up next. Peace out people!
