Start drawing out the shape of the deers face and snout and then draw a solid eye. Draw the back of the head and under the head which is the neck and chest.

Description: Here is another cartoon animal for the books and I am only submitting it because I found it already drawn out and ready to go in an old folder from last month. The reason why I didn’t upload this lesson when I first drew it was because the front leg was messed up, so I found it and fixed it. I hope you guys will like this lesson on “how to draw a cartoon deer”, step by step. The deer is one of the animals that I think should not be hunted even though there is ton in existence like the squirrel. The deer to me is different because they bother nobody, they stay in the woods of the forest, and all they do is eat greens and graze through their dwellings. To me that is very peaceful, making them unnoticed. Now maybe for some of you, deer is an everyday animal that is seen almost all the time. But even if you do see deer all the time, do they really bother you? If an animal isn’t threatening, and they aren’t pests, why bother to kill them. Well that is my view on the whole deer hunting subject. I have a regular realistic deer already submitted here on DragoArt so if you guys want to check that out you can. If you are a novice artist, I would suggest that you tackle this lesson on “how to draw a cartoon deer” first and then move onto the more complex version (and that one is not even hard either). Got to go folks but I will return with two more lessons for you all. Keep up the good work and happy drawing!
