Well, welcome to your last drawing step. All you need to do here is draw out a hint of a back end and then draw the long monkey tail. Once that is done you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Welcome one and all to another bright day on DragoArt.com. I wanted to start the day with a vivid and eye popping tutorial that I drew yesterday while I was live. So for the first lesson of the day I will be showing you “how to draw a cartoon monkey”. I have a lesson on a baby monkey, but as you know a baby monkey and a real cartoon monkey are totally different concepts. The cartoon monkey that I drew is incredibly cool and easy to learn from. I love the position that the animal is in and I think that the eyes came out looking awesome too. The background was colored in yellow because that is the shade of their favorite food which happens to be bananas. The coloring for the monkey himself can easily be done by using colored pencils. You can also use crayons but that may leave your cartoon ape looking like a coloring book image. But all in all your drawing will definitely be cool, and I know for a fact that this will end up being a favorited lesson for many artists out there.
