How to Draw a Cartoon Eagle

Step 1.


Start this tutorial by drawing out the small circle shape for the head and then add the eagles facial guidelines. Draw another circle for the body and then add the long shapes for the wings.

Step 2.


You will start this step by sketching in the shape of the eagles beak. remember you will be drawing a front view of the cartoon eagles beak. Draw in the shapes of the eyes and then move to the next step.

Step 3.


I just want to take a moment and remind everyone that you can enlarge the steps by clicking the magnifying glass you see at the bottom of each step, or you can just click on the picture itself. What you will be doing here in step three is sketching o   

Step 4.


You will sketch out the shapes of the cartoon eagle wings as you see here. Make sure that the feathers are shaped and separated. When that is done you can move onto the next step.

Step 5.


This is your last drawing step. As you can see all you have to do is sketch out the detailing and definition for the back and then back end and right wing. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your art work.

Step 6.


That will end this lesson on "how to draw a cartoon eagle step by step". Color it in and you are all done.

Description: There is so many cartoon animals that I could do lessons on. Since I am a big fan of eagles and hawks, I will be showing you “how to draw a cartoon eagle step by step”. I have a lesson on a real eagle that I drew almost two years ago and if you want to check out that tutorial, you can do so by clicking here. Like I said the tutorial was drawn a while ago, and as you guys know, I can draw way better now. The cartoon eagle that I will be giving you a lesson on is also very bold and fierce just like the real majestic eagle that we sometimes see sore through the skies (depending on where you live of course). I really had an awesome time with this drawing because I drew it live yesterday with all of you. I do understand that some of you that visit DragoArt, are not yet members. I encourage you guys to join the site. You have nothing to loose and everything to gain. We will be updating the site in the near future, and you will experience all the wonderful things that an art site should have.
