Step 2.
Up next we will draw in the bat's cute face which has big round eyes and an adorable smile. Notice the cute front pointed teeth. We will now add the detailing inside the bat ears like so and then give this bat a nose.

Step 3.
Up next, draw in the witchy hat and when you do this be sure the hat isn't bigger than the bat's head. Add detailing to the hat and then a band around the base.

All you have to do here is draw in the other bat ear which is large and rounded. Add detailing inside the ear too.

Let's get started with the bat's body. It is in flight so the legs are curled up in a fetal pose almost. The tail should be drawn in too as well as the feet.

Step 6.
And lastly, draw out the bat's wings. This is my favorite step because I LOVE drawing wings. Add the skin based tissue definition like you see here as well as the other foot and leg. When your bat is all detailed you can erase the mistakes you might
have made.

Step 7.
Here is your halloween bat. All you have to do is have more fun coloring in this batty creature. You can also choose to draw in a cute background as well or print out the line art and color using crayons or markers. I hope you had fun drawing this ba
t for halloween.

Description:
Yes, you are reading the title correctly. Today I will be showing you how to draw a bat for Halloween, step by step. Bats are probably one of my favorite animals to draw because I have always had some form of fascination with this winged creatures that lurk at night. Instead of doing something simple and boring, I wanted to have my bat look stylish for Halloween so I dressed him up with a witchy looking hat and drew in a real spooky background. This lesson is great for kids too because lots of kids like drawing bats for halloween so here you have it. You can customize your bat to your liking, or even have him dressed up wearing whatever you want. The choice is yours but whatever you choose, have fun doing it.
