Begin like always and that is with body guide shapes and facial guidelines.

We will now sketch out the actual structure of the bat's head shape which will also be part of the face. When that is done sketch out some large round shapes for the eyes and make sure it is bold on the upper lid.

Draw the bat ears and the skin inside the ears. When that is done you can go ahead and draw the tuft of hair being used for bangs.

Complete the face by drawing the bat's snout and then the fangs. You can finish the eyes too and mouth.

Draw the large arms which will be part of the bat's wings.

Get started on the body beginning with the belly and then draw in the furry tail.

Complete the bat wings by drawing the wing skin.

Add detailing and definition to the wings and then you are all done for that.

We will now finish off this cartoon dragon by drawing the legs and then the feet. Add some claws and then definition on the belly. Erase the mistakes and guides too.
