Step 1.
Start by making the large head shape, and then draw out the lower part of the body. You will then add one face guide.

Step 2.
Sketch out the shape of the head and be sure to add those feathered cheeks. Next, draw in the beak which should come out looking like a small acorn.

Step 3.
The cutest thing about this baby chicken is it's eyes. Draw out some adorable looking eyes that are shaped like the outline of a house door. Add the eyeballs, and then sketch in two small dashes for the eyes.

Step 4.
Now you can draw out the thick shape of the neck, and don't forget the feather ruffles on the chest. Draw the cute tail, and then draw out the thigh.

Step 5.
For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the cute baby chicken feet which have two front chunky toes, and one back heel. Draw in the nails, and then add a curve for the wing. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description:
After I submitted the tutorial on the sketched video of the baby chick, I received a bunch of requests on making a step by step lesson on "
how to draw a baby chicken
". Not just any chick though, it had to be the one that was in the video and since I think that it’s an awesome idea, making the drawing in a step by step fashion was pretty fun. There is so many ways one can choose to draw chicks, and because are considered to be somewhat ugly animals, it is often hard making a chicken look cute unless they are drawn in chibi, cartoon, or baby form like you see here. I tackled this task the same way I did the sketch, and if you go about this tutorial the same way I show you, it should be a rather simple baby chicken to draw. Well, I guess that’s about it. I will now let you guys get busy, and I will also get busy uploading another lesson for you all to enjoy. Adios peeps, and have a wonderful drawing day!
