Drawing Venom, Chibi Style

Step 1.


Drawing Venom chibi style starts out with a couple circles and some guidelines. The circles are for the head and body and the guidelines are for the face and limbs.

Step 2.


We will begin to draw the face in this step. These are the eyes and as you know Venom has peculiar looking eyes. They are angled and very long.

Step 3.


Define the shape of Venom's head and go ahead and draw in the jack-o-lantern style mouth. You know, the jagged lining forming teeth and a smile.

Step 4.


You will now draw in his long, alien like tongue. This is a characteristic to Venom's character.

Step 5.


Go ahead and begin drawing Venom's chibi body starting with the arms and hands. Don't be afraid to make them look gnarly. He is after all a gnarly character.

Step 6.


We will complete Venom's body by drawing the torso, waist and legs. Don't forget the feet too.

Step 7.


We will complete this Venom drawing by adding the marking on the torso. Erase the mistakes and you are done.

Step 8.


That's it you are all done drawing chibi Venom. I hope you liked this lesson. Go ahead and color him in.

Description: Yup, I'm sure by now folks know that there is a movie coming out that is all about Venom. So, because of that I had to go ahead and make a lesson on how to draw Venom, but I wanted to switch it up a bit and do a chibi version. I really didn't want to make this Marvel character too hard to replicate so I know folks of all skill levels can take a crack at this tutorial without a problem. I'm not saying you won't have any challenges, I'm just saying it is a lot easier to draw Venom in this chibi version than it would in his regular state. Anyways, have fun and I'll be back soon.
