1 Drawing the head

Here you will start the drawing lesson by sketching out the actual shape of the rhino's head and ears. Of course you will need to draw the first of two horns as well. Add detailing to the ears and then around the base skin of the horn.

2 drawing the face

We will finish what we started with the white rhino's head by drawing the rest of the face shape followed by the other horn which is set lower on the face near the nose. Add the nostrils, eye and all the facial definition throughout.

3 drawing the body

To draw the body you will start by drawing the hump on the back which is close to the neck or head. When that is done follow the lining to form the back and rear quarters.

4 more body

Up next, tackle the front legs and feet followed by the toes or toe nails. When that is done go ahead and draw the shoulder and some of the belly.

5 almost done

For the last drawing step all you have to do is finish drawing out the legs and feet. Then draw in the shoulder detailing around the front elbows, add the knee swirls, and then give this rhino a tail. Erase the mistakes you might have made.

6 Final lineart step

That's it. It's time to color in this Northern White Rhino. I hope you had fun folks.

Description: The northern white rhino is in the news lately because they are on death doorstep from being extinct. There were a total of three left in the world, but the death of the only living male named Sudan left only two females to remain. Fatu and Najin are the last of their kind. Scientists are working around the clock to preserve this species from extinction and with skilled hands and minds, maybe, just maybe we can save the Northern White Rhino from extinction. Anyways, have fun with this lesson that shows you how to draw a white rhino. I will be back with some other fun lessons so stay tuned in.
