1

Start by drawing a simple hazelnut shape for the outline of your purple heart.

2

Define the shape of the medal and then draw in the top portion of the medal which is where the ribbon will go.

3

Make a simple thin line around the inner part of the medal shaped heart.

4

You will begin sketching out the shape of the figure inside the heart which is none other than George Washington.

5

Complete George Washington's profile as you can see here, and then add detailing where needed.

6

Lastly, draw in the ribbon line which is what is attached to the medal.

7

Once your guidelines have been erased and the mistakes are wiped clean, the line art should look like the drawing you see here.
