Drawing the Devil

Start off by sketching out the guides. There should be guides for the head, torso, bottom area and then guidelines for the limbs and wings.

For this second step you will be working on the face structure and detailing. Start with the forehead and then draw in the brow, nose, mouth and chin hair. Sketch out the long shaped ear and then add detailing inside the ear.

This part is going to be tricky because you really have to take your time. We will draw in the two different styled horns. The second set is in the style of a ram. Add the detailed lining to the horns and then draw in small horn bumps. Sketch in the

Here you will draw in the arm and hand. Make sure there is muscle definition to the arm and then draw in the hand which is in a raging pose.

Continue to work on the body by sketching out the chest and back. You will then sketch in the indents to the torso and then the rib cage.

Again, you will work on the body. Here you will draw out the leg in complete form. Start with the thigh and work your way down. Notice that the Devil has a hoof for a foot.

You can now draw out the other leg and hoof. Add the detailing to the limbs like so, then you are ready for the next step.

The body is basically drawn out. What you will need to do now is sketch out the large skin or tissue based wings. Add some damage or aged detailing to the wings as well.

Congratulations, you've made it to the final drawing step and hopefully you did so in one piece. To finish things up draw the Devil's tail and be sure that it has a tuft of hair on the end. Erase the mistakes and all the guides as well as detail the

Description: It's no secret that I am a person who loves drawing concept art and it's also no secret that one of my favorite beings to draw is the Devil. So, since I haven't done any recent lessons on drawing the Devil, I thought I should make another, up-to-date tutorial that is a full bodied image with him ramming his way to someones soul. This whole drawing took me about three hours from start to finish. I love the way the drawing came out and I am excited to be sharing this lesson with all of you.
