Drawing Penguin Easy

Start off with a simple circle for the head guide and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Inside the circle, draw the long narrow nose and then draw in Penguin's eyebrow which is in a frown like expressive pose.

Use the face or head guide to define the shape of Penguin's face. You will also draw the squinted eye, and the monocle that he always wears in the other eye. Don't forget to sketch in the hair line to on the side.

We will now draw in his smile. Add the cheek bump and then draw the bottom lip. Add the lines in his teeth as well.

One of the most signature things to Penguin is his top hat. You will now draw in his top hat, and then add detailing to the hat like the band around the base.

Finish drawing the head and then draw in Penguin's ear. Add the detailing inside the ear and then you can draw the chain for his monocle.

For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw in his tie. The tie has dimples on the inside so be sure to add that as well. Erase your mistakes and guides.

Description: The next two tuts are going to be on characters from Batman. I don't know if it's true yet, but I think the new Batman movie is going to have Riddler and Penguin come back in. If that happens, I don't know if the movie will be a hit or miss. As you know in 'Batman Forever' which starred Val Kilmer as Batman, that movie bombed big time and I know why. It's because there was too many villains that Batman had to deal with and it was hard to keep track of them all. I mean, you had Two Face, Riddler and Batman also had to deal with Robin. This lesson is going to show you how to draw Penguin easy. It's the traditional looking comic book version of Penguin. I did this type of style because it's the face you see in the comic books and he is a whole lot easier to draw in the format. If you are a Batman fan than the Penguin should be a blast to draw. After all, he is one of Batman's most reoccurring villains besides the Joker.
