The LEGO Batman Movie Drawing Lesson

Step 1.


Let us begin with just a circle for the head and another slender shape for the body. Sketch in the facial and body guidelines.

Step 2.


We will now use the head guide to draw out Batman's head shape and face. Remember, he is wearing a helmet.

Step 3.


Use the facial guidelines to draw in LEGO Batman's face. Start with the brows and then draw the eyes. You will then draw the nose, rectangular shaped opening for the mouth and then draw the actual lip line.

Step 4.


Draw the shape of Batman's neck, then draw the body in a more defined manner. Once that is done add the detailed lining to create the utility belt and gadgets.

Step 5.


Draw the arm and hand like so, then proceed to step six.

Step 6.


Up next, draw in the legs and then add all the detailing to create the look of Batman's suit.

Step 7.


Draw in the Batman logo on his chest, then draw the fake abs and detailing to his belt.

Step 8.


Lastly, we will draw in the long swooping cape. The way the cape is positioned, you can't see Batman's other arm. Erase whatever mistakes you might have made along with all the guidelines.

Step 9.


Here is the line art now that you are all done. Go ahead and color in Batman to finish this LEGO hero off.

Description: Since there is that new LEGO movie coming out in 2017 based around Batman and all the characters from Batman, I thought I would make a fresh tutorial that will show you how to draw The LEGO Batman Movie star, Batman. This is a super fun and easy lesson that I know all you LEGO fans will enjoy. It didn't take long for me to replicate what Batman looks like in the movie, but there are some things that are different like the suit. No matter what, this LEGO Batman is awesome and I had a lot of fun making him even if I'm not a fan of LEGOS.
