Drawing Bruce Lee
1
Make the guide shape for Bruce Lee's face and then sketch in the facial guidelines as well as the neck line.
2
Up next, draw in the actual face structure. As you can see Bruce Lee's face is angled or chiseled looking and he has his short hairline framing the face as well.
3
You will use the facial guidelines to draw Bruce Lee's nose, then draw in his lips or mouth the way you see it done here. I focus more on his top lip because that was one of the distinguishing characteristics about Bruce Lee's face.
4
We will complete the face by drawing the thick eyebrows. Then draw in the shapes of Bruce Lee's eyes with layered creases for the lids.
5
Sketch out Bruce Lee's neck shape and then draw in the shoulders. When that is done add detailing to the neck which are the neck and collar bones.
6
Lastly, finish the hairstyle which is also the shape of his head. Erase the guides and mistakes as well.

Description: A while back I did a lesson on Bruce Lee, but that tutorial wasn't drawn to the standards that I have now and that's mainly because when I made the lesson on drawing Bruce Lee, I was still learning my craft. Back then drawing people was very challenging and it used to take me almost three hours just to get a rough sketch done. Nowadays I know how to draw people, but still those drawings are not perfect. For the next couple days I will be redoing some lessons on people I have drawn in the past in better detail and with cleaner line art. The drawing lessons will also be a whole lot easier to replicate in a tut, so let's start with this new version of how to draw Bruce Lee. I love Bruce Lee, he was a big part of my childhood growing up and even though he is gone, the legend of this gifted karate expert lives on. I hope you enjoy this tut, I will be back with more lessons so don't stray too far.
