How to Sketch a Face

Once again draw those famous guidelines that will help you with mass and facial features. The vertical line helps you with the eyes. The horizontal helps you with centering the face. Sketch them lightly so you can erase easier later.

This time draw in the eyes and lower part of the nose. Now you don't have to do all three faces. If doing three is overwhelming, focus on one face and do it step by step.

Description: Why not do a tutorial on a few races faces -- Indian man (Sioux), Japanese girl (Geisha), and an African American girl with cornrows. I really enjoyed drawing these three faces freehand because two of the races represent my heritage. When you finish the tutorial, can you to comment and guess which two races I represent?
