How to Draw Yui, Angel Beats

Step 1.


Let us begin by making a circle for the head and then sketch in some facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Once the circle is made start sketching out the shape of the face. Next, draw the jagged looking fluff of bangs like so.

Step 3.


Now that the face and bangs are drawn in, you can draw the thick curved eye lids, the eyebrows, then the oblong shapes of the actual eyes. Add the nose, mouth, and eyebrows.

Step 4.


Continue with drawing her hair. The long thick strands should sort of be separated like you see here. Sketch in some tufts in the mid section of her hairstyle near the ears, and add some detailing to the top of her head.

Step 5.


Draw in some cute pigtails as well as her ribbons that are neatly tied. Don't forget to show the band around each part of the ponytail.

Step 6.


For the last step all you have to do is draw the neck, necklace or choker, then draw the collar, and more of her hair in back of Yui's neck. Erase the mistakes you made along the way to clean up the drawing.

Step 7.


Here is the multi-talented Yui from Angel Beats. Color her in to finish her off. I hope you had fun folks!

Description: Well guys, here is a lesson based on yet another character from the seemingly popular 'Angel Beats'. Up next I will be showing you "how to draw Yui", step by step. She is a fan of the band 'Girls Dead Monster'. Instead of being part of the band, she is instead an assistant, but she later becomes the bands new rhythm guitarist. One of the recognizable traits to Yui is how fast she talks, and how incredibly hyper she is. Some people find Yui to be annoying and sometimes there will be aggressive arguments between who ever it may be that is arguing with Yui at the time. Even though there is a lot of bickering back and forth, these girls genuinely care about one another. Yui's style is pretty sweet because he wears some shackles on her wrists, as well as a pair of devilish wings. Her musical instrument of choice is a Gibson SG special guitar. She is definitely a character that gets around because later in the series she also eventually becomes one of the main figures of the SSS. I had fun drawing Yui because I find her interesting and pretty. If you are a fan of Angel Beats, you should know who she is. I will be back with more drawing fun so stay tuned in.
