How to Draw Naoi, Ayato Naoi, Angel Beats

Step 1.


Make a circle for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Sketch out the actual shape of the face and be sure to add a pointed chin. Draw in the spaced out bangs which should look very pointed.

Step 3.


Next, draw the shapes of his eyes paying close attention to the serious expression he gives off. Draw the eyebrows as well as the crease folds on the lids. Draw the nose and mouth as well.

Step 4.


Finish drawing his puffy style hair like so, then start the drawing process of the cap. Add the thin trim around the cap's rim like so, then proceed to step five.

Step 5.


Almost done guys! Draw the shape of the neck, then sketch out the high raised collar like you see here as well as some of the shoulders. Add the crinkle, wrinkles, and folds as well.

Step 6.


For the last step all you have to do is draw in the flaps for his shirt collar, then add some nice trimming. Erase the mistakes and guidelines like so.

Step 7.


Here is another Angel Beats character that came out well. Now just color him in.

Description: For the second Angel Beats figure I will submit for the day, we will be tackling the task of learning "how to draw Naoi", step by step. His full name is Ayato Naoi, but he is called Naoi for short. After Angel or Kanade is demoralized, Naoi becomes Acting Student Council President. Like all males that attend Afterlife, his outfit consists of a pair of black colored pants and a black colored gakuran. Under his gakuran he wears a white polo button up shirt followed by a Mao hat. His eyes are probably one of the most piercing parts on his face. They are green and very intense or serious looking. I would say that Naoi is a very no nonsense type of dude. Angel was a bit more playful than Naoi, but now that she is out of the picture, he is a much more strict president that holds down on the rules. Drawing Naoi is going to be easy, but you novice artists may run into problems when it's time to draw some of his clothes. Either way you will definitely have an awesome time. I have to leave because there is more for me to do before the night is over. Adios people and have fun like always!
