How to Draw Wolf and Roses Tattoo

Begin with your basic guidelines and shapes to form the workable frame for the wolf and roses.

You will now use the head guide to draw out the actual shape of the head and then use the facial guidelines to draw in the tip of the nose.

Here you will draw the shape and structure of the top mouth/jaw and then draw in the layers of wrinkling skin from snarling. Add the whisker holes and the nostril depth.

Here you will draw the wolf teeth and the upper and lower gum lines. Define the shape of the muzzle and then draw the tip of the tongue.

Use the facial guidelines once again to draw out the eyes. They should be marble like in appearance and shape, and the surrounding area should all be shaded in and sculpted out to create an intense gaze. Add more definition to the face but this time

Go ahead and give this wolf some pointed stiff setted ears and then draw in the goatee style beard. Add detailing and tissue layers to the ears and then draw the detailing to the beard.

We will now draw the first step and leaves of the rose. The rose stem should be thick and sturdy looking. Add the thorns along the sides and then draw in the bundles of leaves. Again, add detailing.
