Here is a very simple spider design that you will be tackling. It is the Spiderman logo or symbol, so let's get started. First, make a small circle for the spider's head.

You will then draw the fangs of the spider, and then the first two legs. Notice how the legs are drawn in a very distinct manner. The lining is straight and the tips of each leg are pointed.

Draw the arrow shaped body of Spiderman's spider, as well as the long relaxed hanging legs. Again, the tips of the legs should end with sharp looking points.

For the last step, all you have to do is draw the last of the legs. This is two spider legs on each side. They should cup into each other in a uniform way for a nice sharp and edgy look. The lining for the legs can be drawn using a ruler if you like.

Description: It has been a while since I drew something cool that was related to a comic book hero or storyline. Since there is a new movie coming out this year called “The Amazing Spiderman”, I thought that a lot of you folks would like to see a tutorial on "how to draw the Spiderman logo", step by step. His symbol has got to be one of the coolest I have seen thus far. I think it’s because of the spider design and background concept. I was going to do just a simple silhouette of a spider without the actual costume as the background foundation, but I changed my mind because I know that people like to be brought into the comic or story when you see the red and blue leotard suit covered in spider web. The spider is actually going to be pretty simple to replicate, and for the most part I think artists of all levels will be able to tackle this lesson. Drawing the Spiderman spider is not going to be like pulling teeth, instead it will be like eating ice cream. For those of you that requested this symbol in the past, I now give you what you have been waiting for. I will be back with you guys tomorrow for more drawing fun so be sure to come back around to see what else I have up my sleeve next.
