Draw a large circle for Vader's head and then add the facial guidelines. That is basically all you have to do here. Remember you can draw Vader's head any size you want.

You will now start using the facial guidelines to draw in the shapes of his intense looking eyes and then draw the detailing notches on the bridge of what is designed to be the bridge of Darth Vader's nose. One that is complete, draw two flap like li

Description: Well, after countless requests over the past few weeks I will finally submit a tutorial on “how to draw Vader", step by step. Of course this is not going to be a full bodied drawing lesson on Darth Vader, it's more like a head shot. When ever you want to "DRAW STAR WARS", I guess you could say that when you "draw Darth Vader's helmet" it's somewhat of a popular part of Vader that people like drawing. I mean you have to admit, Vader has an awesome mask and or helmet for his character type. George Lucas really did do a great job with designing the whole characters make-up including face, body, personality, and the fact that he is one of the most brutal antagonist in a movie ever! Darth Vader's voice actor was epic too, James Earl Jones was a perfect fit for Vader to the T. James Earl Jones also plays another awesome character in the movie “Conan the Barbarian”. Anyway, if you followed the Star Wars saga you already know that Vader wasn't always a bad guy. He was actually a Jedi in training and Obi Wan Kenobi was his mentor. Darth Vader used to go by the name of Anakin Skywalker before he turned to the dark side and became the Sith Lord we know him to be. The whole reason why he turned was because he retained a lot of anger, and pain when his mother was murdered by a group of Tuskin Raiders, and because he wanted to save his pregnant wife Padme from dieing at childbirth. Did you ever wonder how his form came to pass? Well, from what I've read, Darth Vader lost his left arm and both of his legs, and then Vader nearly burned to death when he had a duel with Obi Wan. Palpatine eventually rescues Vader and brings him to “Coruscant”. It is there that his body makes a life long transformation. With the work of medical droids, he was given a black armored suit, a black recognizable mask, a respirator, and a new set of legs and left arm. I always thought that Darth Vader was an awesome character and I will continue to hold this character in my “best top ten villains of all time”. I know you guys will like this lesson on “how to draw Vader step by step”. I will be back later in the day with more drawing fun. Peace peeps, and may the dark force be with you!
