Step 1.
As you can imagine drawing the Death Star is going to be easy because I drew it in a simplified manor. Start with a big circle that will fit the size of your paper comfortably. Next draw a slanted horizontal line directly in the middle of the station
's shape.

Step 2.
Since you are drawing this blown up version of Death Star, you will start sketching out the shattered edges of the spheres structure. Take your time as you sketch out this area of jagged lining. Once complete draw a smaller circle for the superlaser'
s area of operation. Lastly add a "+" in the middle.

Step 3.
Draw the detailing lines in the middle of the small caved in circle, and then continue to sketch out the blasted shape of the Death Star's surface. Again, take your time to ensure neat replication.

Step 4.
All you do now is color in the void to make the battle station appear to be almost completely destroyed. After that you can then erase any guidelines, shapes, or sketch lines that make your drawing look "dirty".

Step 5.
That's all there is to it when drawing the Death Star, step by step. Grab your dark gray marker, crayon, paint, or colored pencil and begin shading in the coolest object in Star Wars.

Description:
Now that I uploaded Princess Leia, I think I will now submit my second Star Wars character or object from the saga. Just to let you know, I will be uploading a total of three characters and or objects from the movie today, and this is the second installment. What was the most memorable stations in Star Wars that was a big part of the movie and or series? Well, if you haven't guessed this tutorial will be on β
how to draw Death Star, step by step
β. The Death Star is probably the most terrifying concepts in Star Wars. Owned and operated by the evil Empire, this star or station was the most powerful, and deadly weapon in the galaxy. It had the complete capability to wipe out whole planets leaving them as scattering specs of dust floating around the universe. Death Star was also the main headquarters for Darth Vader, and his crew including the Emperor. The size of this massive destroyer was relevant to a small moon. The battle station was commanded by not Darth Vader, but none other then Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. Tarkin is responsible for threatening Princess Leia that her home planet will be destroyed if she doesn't spill the beans about the whereabouts of the Rebel base. Eventually she refuses to cave in and Alderaan as she knows it was completely vaporized by the Death Star's main weapon, the super-laser. It was known to be fully equipped with a series of turboblasters, and tractor beam projectors. Because of the extent of arsenal that equipped the Death Star, it had more power then the Imperial Starfleet. The color was a dark gray to represent death and destruction, and it also has a caved in disk area which houses the main laser weapon. Just this design alone makes the Death Star one of the most recognizable objects in the film. Because it was developed in secret, over time the Rebel Alliance was able to confiscate the weapons whereabouts. This is what Leia hides in the cavity of R2-D2. Anyway, I think a majority of you guys know the rest of the story, which means we can move onto this submission that teaches you β
how to draw the Death Starβ
, in it's second version, after it was blown up by Luke Skywalker. Well, I have to go now because I have three more tutorials to submit and one of them is the other Star Wars character. Peace out my peeps, and remember to have fun drawing!
