How to Draw Obi Wan Kenobi

Step 1.


First draw out the guidelines and shapes to form a nice workable frame for Obi Wan Kenobi. Start with a circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. Once that is done you can draw out the body's lines of position as you see them here. Don'   

Step 2.


Okay, lets start sketching out the facial features of Obi Wan Kenobi starting with his hair top line. One the shape and style of his hair is outlined, you can then start drawing out the shape and outline of his beard and mustache. Add vertical lines    

Step 3.


Next in step three, you will add detailing to his hair style and then draw out his eyebrows and eyes. Finish off the beard and then add the vertical detailing lines. Draw his right arm and finish off his left hand. Before you leave this step you will   

Step 4.


You are almost done with this tutorial and as you can see all you have to do here is draw out the thickness of his lightsaber that all Jedi have. Obi Wan Kenobi is a very skilled Jedi Master and therefore his lightsaber should be drawn with precise c   

Step 5.


Welcome to your last drawing step. What you will be doing here is drawing out his legs and feet in an active pose. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and then move to the next step.

Step 6.

Description: Hello everyone and how are all you boys and girls doing tonight? As you know, I have been slowly but surely doing more and more drawing tutorials on Star Wars characters. Now, in this next lesson I will be filling a request that was made a couple of days ago by a DragoArt member. I am going to teach you all how to draw Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars The Clone Wars step by step. All though this is a character that is well recognized from the George Lucas movies, Obi Wan is a very popular character in the animated series that airs on Cartoon Network. I did do a lesson Anakin Skywalkwer from The Clone Wars as well and he came out pretty cool. From the movie, Obi Wan Kenobi is a wise Jedi Master that had a very skilled apprentice who later became a Jedi of the Dark Force and his name was Anakin Skywalker. Anakin was later turned into the evil Darth Vader who in turn happens to be the father of Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. In the first Star Wars trilogy, Obi Wan Kenobi helps Luke become a Jedi like his father before him was. Before master Kenobi could tell him about his father he was slain by Darth Vader during a battle. In the Cartoon Network animated series Obi Wan is a Jedi Master who serves as a general in the clone army. It is true that Obi Wan Kenobi is very talented with his lightsaber. And it is also true that instead of fighting, he would like to find other ways to end conflict without resorting to a battle. The character in the cartoon is wicked cool and I like the way he looks when he is using his lightsaber in battle. It is true that I am not an avid viewer of the series but I do get to catch it on Cartoon Network sometimes when I am chillen with my peeps on the couch (brothers and sisters). This tutorial took me a few hours to sketch out, draw and color in. I used a picture reference to get his character image right that is seen on TV and I think he came out looking cool.
