Description: “The Simpsons”...those awesome two words that starts every episode of the animated series. I wanted to do a lesson on a portrait of one of the worlds most popular animated families. Even though I already have tutorials on all five characters, I thought it would be fun to show you guys “how to draw the Simpsons, step by step”. I don't think there is a need for me to go into detail about the show because it has been airing on TV for over a decade now. Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Homer, and Marge make up the family as a whole, and together they bring big laughs, excitement and ideas to those who are fans of the series. The cartoon comedy has been airing since 1989, and is still on Fox to this day standing strong. In all there is a total of a whopping four hundred fifty one episodes since the shows start. The Simpsons was originally created by Matt Groening for Fox Broadcasting Company. It is a hilarious parody that takes place in the city of Springfield. Like a majority of working class families in the eighties, Marge is a stay at home mother, and Homer is the bread winner. Their son Bart is a rebellious, high energy kid that attends Springfield Elementary School along with his brainiac sister Lisa. Lisa on the other hand likes to do things right contrary to the fact that she has a semi-alcoholic, overweight father that acts more like a child then a dad and husband. It's funny to me that a show can air for a total of twenty years, and still have an infant look like a baby still. Of course I'm talking about Maggie. Marge holds the family together even though life gets to be a little over the top for her liking. Once in a while the show will bring in Marge's two twin sisters who are nothing like Marge whatsoever. In all the show is an awesomely funny animated comedy series that will last a very long time to come. I think you guys will enjoy this tutorial that will show you “how to draw The Simpsons, step by step”. Have fun with this lesson, and keep an eye out for more upcoming fun stuff to learn from, and draw. Adios amigos!
