How to Draw The Iron Giant

Make the outlined shape for Giant's head like so, then draw in the broad line for the shoulders.

You will now draw out the top portion of the head shape like so and be sure to add that small bump because that is where his antenna is.

Next, draw in the very prominent jaw which is a totally separate piece of hardware to Giant's design. There should be bolts on the sides of the jaw like so, as well as definition detailing on the front part of the jaw.

You will now draw in the round shaped eyes as well as the tube like indent inside each eye. Sketch in the forehead detailing as well as the marks under the eyes to add expression to Giants face.

Lastly, sketch out the layered shape of the neck, then draw the shoulders, and the rings that make up the robotic design. He is a very big, strong robot that has a lot of power. Add detailing throughout the body or torso that is visible, then begin e

Description: I don't know how true it is, but I read somewhere that there was an Iron Giant 2 in the works. Even though such a film would be sweet to see, I think it would be a negative impact on the first film because everyone already knows that Giant is alive and his pieces are finding their way back to form his body. Besides, everyone knows he is a hero which means it would be hard to base a movie around The Iron Giant again. What are they gonna do, have Mansley the villain by having him escape from a mental hospital to get revenge on Hogarth and the Giant? I don't know, I don't see how there could be a story there unless Giant becomes a superhero. Hey, did you know that Vin Diesel was the voice actor for Giant? It's true, even though he didn't have many lines, Vinny provided his robotic voice talents for this lovable giant robot.
