Start with something real simple, a regular circle with sketched in facial guidelines.

Using the guide you just made, begin sketching out the structure of the skull's face or bone structure for the cheeks and temples like so. Take your time so it comes out looking right.

Next, raw out the shapes of each eye socket like so, then color them in so they look hollow. You will then draw the shape of the nose and color that in as well.

Sketch around the nose shape to add definition and bone structure detailing. Once that is done you can add detailing around the top part of the eyes as well as between the eyes and cheek bones.

The top portion of the skull's mouth or upper jaw is going to be sketched in to look like an old puckered style mouth. The creases, crevasses and indents will make up the mouth design as you see here. Add some small pieces of teeth in the back part o

Finally, sketch out the remaining shape of the head or skull and be sure to sketch in some scuff marks along the sides and top. When your Black Label Society skull is all drawn out, you can begin cleaning up the drawing by erasing the mistakes and gu

Here it is, the finished drawing for you BLS band logo or skull. You can add some shading to bring the skull to life, or you can just choose to color it in.

Description: For those of you that are big fans of 'Black Label Society', you might very well enjoy this lesson on "how to draw the Black Label Society skull" or logo. I was asked many times before to make this tutorial but it wasn't until recently that I actually got around to doing it. After receiving more requests, I decided that it was high time to fulfill those requests and make time to make the lesson. So here it is, as you can see it is wicked cool looking. I have always been a fan of the Black Label Society artwork for their album covers and band logos. Since I enjoy drawing skulls, it was a real pleasure recreating one of the coolest skulls around.
