How to Draw Team Rocket

Step 1.


Since you will be drawing two different characters, you will have to do double the work. First draw the shapes for their heads and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw the stick like body figures for Jessie and James as you see here.

Step 2.


You will now start sketching out the shapes of their faces as you see here and then draw in the lining for the eyes, nose, and mouths. For James you will add his long front bands.

Step 3.


Finish off James hair style as you see here and then draw in his eyes, shape of his neck, and then the shoulders and left arm. For Jessie you will sketch out her entire single swirl like hairdo and then draw her ear, eyes, and finish off her mouth. Y   

Step 4.


Finish sketching out the arms on both characters, and then draw the shirts too. When the shirts and arms are drawn add some detailing for the hands, and then draw the outline of the letter "R" on both of their shirts.

Step 5.


Finish off James "R" and then begin drawing his waist, hips, and thighs. You will also draw Jessie's waist, hips, and thighs too. You can then move to the next drawing step.

Step 6.


For your last drawing step finish sketching out their legs and then draw the boots. For Jessie she is wearing thigh high leather type of boots, and James is wearing knee high boots that his pants get tucked into. Erase all the guidelines and shapes t   

Step 7.


See how fun and easy it was to draw out Team Rocket. All you have to do now is include Meowth and you have a complete trio. I hope you had fun, you should because I think you did a great job. Color them in and you're all set!

Description: Pokemon is filled with such awesome characters that will be remembered forever. Yesterday I uploaded a tutorial on Meowth, and to be honest I thought it was going to do a lot better then it has as far as the number of views. Today I want to show you guys “how to draw Team Rocket”, step by step. Team Rocket is one of the first characters to be written into the Pokemon anime and manga. They are supposed to be a trio that consists of Jessie, James, and of course Meowth. Jessie is the purple headed female that has an over exaggerated mind, and a real strong sense of control. James on the other hand is more subtle and has emotional issues as well. Team Rocket's whole objective is to some how steal all of Ash's Pokemon. Because they were defeated by Ash Ketchum, they have made been determined to follow him and his pet Pokemon Pikachu everywhere they go. They are constantly scheming and conniving their way through their long travels, and even get disappointing when success has been so close but somehow always slips out from their hands. I love the three because they are so incredibly insane, and hilarious at the same time. I don't think that Pokemon would be the same if they were no longer written into the anime or manga. In the beginning I always thought that the Jessie and James where brother and sister because they fight so much. One of things that I love, is their opening statement whenever they are introducing themselves; “To protect the world from devastation, To unite all peoples within our nation, To denounce the evils of truth and love, To extend our reach to the stars above, Jesse, James Team Rocket, blastoff at the speed of light, Surrender now or prepare to fight (Meowth), that's right”!
