Artist:
Dawn
/ June 26, 2010
Step 1.
Begin drawing out some shapes, one for the head, and one for the body like so. Next, add the facial guidelines, and then the limb lines like so. You will also need to draw a connecting line to join the two pieces together.

Step 4.
Okay, it's now time to start sketching or drawing out the rest of the arms, and notice how the three fingers are bold and large. Once that is done, you can then draw the belly line, and back left hind leg and foot like so. Lastly, draw the padding li

For your last drawing step, all you have to do is draw the large back fin, and then the back hind legs. Once that is done add some detailing stripes, and back leg padding like so. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

Step 6.
This is how your Pokemon character should look when you are done. Just color it in using blue and orange hues, and that's it. If you follow the steps provided, your drawing should look awesome, and I bet you did a great job.

Description:
The first lesson of the day was pretty intense wasn’t it? I can’t help it though, I freaking love Dead Space. Anyways, lets get into what this next tutorial is going to be. I will be submitting two Pokemon character species, and I will start by showing you "
how to draw Swampert
", step by step. Swampert is a water/ground type, from the Mud Fish Pokemon species. If you’re thinking to yourself that this guy looks familiar, you may be thinking of a previous character that I did like a month or two ago named Marshtomp. Swampert evolves from Marshtomp once at level thirty six, and it is also the last evolution from the original form which is Mudkip. As you can see, this version or evolution is much, much stronger looking then it’s previous forms. Swampert is best known for it’s humongous three fingered palms that look massive when opened. It’s body is a nice shade of blue, and like it’s previous forms, Swampert has orange colored cheeks, forearm patches, and orange hind leg patches as well. The two large looking plated fins are on each side of it’s head which makes this Pokemon look even more intimidating, and it also has a large tail fin as well that is just as big, or a bit smaller. Just by looking at this species, you already know that one of it’s abilities has got to be super strength, and power. As a matter of fact, Swampert is so strong, it can actually pull something that weighs over a ton witch is like a thousand pounds or more. It also has the ability to use "Hammer Arm", which is all its inner strength compiled into its powerful hands. In general this is a super Pokemon species, and I think my brother would agree with me. I hope you guys like this lesson that will teach you "
how to draw Swampert, step by step
". That is all I have to say about this character, but I will be back soon with some more drawing fun so don’t fret my friends there is still more on the way. Peace out my fellow artist and peeps.
