How to Draw Sting from Fairy Tail

Start off with the guide shape for the head and face, then sketch in the facial guidelines as well as the neck guide.

Define the shape of Sting's face using the facial guide you just made. When that is done draw the hair line, and then draw in some layered folds on the right side of the head.

We will now draw in the shapes of Sting's ears, then add detailing inside them to finish the ears off.

For step four, all you have to do is draw in the angled shapes of the eyes, then sketch in the long eyebrows. Next, draw the nose and then his mouth. Add a scar over the left eyebrow, then add some crinkles between the eyes.

Sketch in the shape of Sting's neck like so. On the sides of the neck should be fluffy lining for the puffy collar on the jacket.

For the last step all you will have to do is draw in the rest of the puffy collar. Make sure the spikes are thick and flowing as well. Erase your mistakes and you are done.

That's it. You're done. Now you can color in this drawing and show folks what you did.

Description: Whenever I upload lessons on Fairy Tail characters, they always get big reviews and more requests role in to do more tuts on some characters that are both popular and not so recognized. Here is how to draw Sting, step by step. Since I don't follow the series, I don't know too much about Sting. All I know is that he may be a dragon slayer, he is cool looking, and is the Guild Master of Sabertooth. Anyways, I do believe that all you Fairy Tail fans will enjoy this tut.
