How to Draw Sarah From Hocus Pocus

Step 1.


Draw the two shapes for the head and body guides, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Define the shape of Sarah's face like so, then draw her crazy styled hair which seems to be stretched to each side. Her hair is also parted in the middle.

Step 3.


Up next, we will use the facial guides to draw the large shapes of her eyes. Notice the top lid lines are thick, dark and bold. Add some lashes and then draw the pupils and mouth.

Step 4.


We can now draw the arms and body in the form of a dress. Her dress is sort of like a halter top. Add the wavy inner lining and the flare of her dress style.

Step 5.


We will now draw the rest of her gown or dress by adding the bottom half. When that is done draw the pleats and then add the crisscross pattern on her torso. Add the ends of her hair and you are all done. Erase your mistakes and guides as well.

Step 6.


That's it. This drawing is done. You can have some more fun by coloring in the art.

Description: Let's add to the Hocus Pocus collection and begin this tut on how to draw Sarah Sanderson, step by step. She is one of the three sisters from Hocus Pocus and her character is played by Sarah Jessica Parker and she does a good job playing a witch. I don't know what else I can say about this lesson except Sarah Sanderson is one of the nicer witches. She has a soft spot and is often getting in trouble with her other sisters because of her soft spot. Anyways, go ahead and have fun drawing Sarah.
