How to Draw Rose From Vampire Academy, Rose Hathaway

Begin by sketching out the actual shape of structure for Rose's face like you see here. Leave a gap off to the left because that is where her hair part is going to be.

You will now begin drawing out the shapes of each eye. Make sure the lining is dark and or bold. Add the crease line above the lids, then move along to step three once you lightly sketch in some lashes.

Here you will finish drawing Rose's eyes by sketching out her nicely set eyebrows which also happen to be a bit dark. When that is done make more lashes, then draw in the actual eyeballs or iris'.

Slowly sketch out the shape of her nose, then draw in the mouth which is slightly open. Add some shading inside the mouth, then draw in two teeth. You will also need to detail her nose too.

For this next step all you have to do is sketch out her long hair which is also very full. Add the strands to her hair to sketch in some texture, then move along to step six.

Draw the shape of her neck, then draw the shirt collar and button. Add a little detailing to the shirt and then erase those mistakes that you might have made.

Description: I don't know how many of you follow the Vampire Academy series but this main character was requested more then three times so I had to go ahead and get her done. Today I will be showing you "how to draw Rose Hathaway", step by step. She is a very pretty girl that has long brown hair and brown eyes. Her parents are well known with her father being Abe Mazur and her mother is Guardian Janine Hathaway. I don't watch or read the series, all I know about the main character who also happens to be the heroine and narrator of Vampire Academy is what my sister tells me. My seventeen year old sister follows True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, and of course Vampire Academy. Have fun with drawing Rose folks and I will begin preparing my next lessons for you all.
