How to Draw Queen of Hearts, Red Queen

Very simple lesson. Start with the guideshape for the head and then guidelines for the face.

Using the shape you just made draw the heart like outline for the Queen's facial structure.

Next, use the facial guidelines to draw the arched eyebrows and then the outlines for the eyes and finally the eyes. The thick lid lines and lashes should be added next as well as the nose and mouth. Don't forget, her mouth is a heart shapes lips.

We will now draw in her BIG hairstyle that has curls and waves.

Give the Queen a crown and erase the mistakes if there are any.

And you are all done. Go ahead and color the Red Queen in.

Description: I'm sure all of you know who this face belongs to and some of you artists are excited to have finally found a lesson that will show you how to draw Queen of Hearts, step by step. Although this isn't the traditional Queen of Hearts from Disney's classic tale of Alice in Wonderland, but the live action queen played by Helena Bonham Carter and her character in the film is actually called Red Queen. Nonetheless she is still a tyrannical, lunatic that has anger issues and always wants to cut someone's head off. Anyways, I love the lesson and I think you will enjoy drawing Red Queen too.
