Make some guides for the head and face like so.

Next, begin drawing the defined shape of the snout. When that is done you can add the smile. Notice that the snout or nose is sort of square.

Draw in Poppa's bottom jaw shape and then proceed to step four.

We will now add his kind eyes, then draw in the brow and nasal holes or nostrils.

Finish Poppa off by drawing the head shape and then his long neck. Erase the mistakes and you are all done.

Since this film is going to be in theaters soon, I wanted to make sure that everyone has a chance to draw some of the main characters before it's release. Here is how to draw Poppa, step by step. Poppa is Arlo's father. He is not only a father, but he is also a devoted husband and a brave dinosaur. He would do anything and everything for his family which makes him a good dinosaur.
