How to Draw Mey-Rin

Step 1.


You will draw the head guide, then draw the guide for the upper body or torso. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Step 2.


Draw out the shape of her face, then sketch in the bangs and some of the hair that falls on the side of her face.

Step 3.


Next, draw the shapes of her eyes which are rugged in form, then add some lashes.

Step 4.


Add the eyebrows, then draw in the eyeballs. Add the nose and then the mouth.

Step 5.


You will now sketch out the rest of her hairstyle in the front of her head, then sketch in the bonnet that the maid is wearing. Draw the ear shape, then sketch in the detailing.

Step 6.


Finish sketching out Mey-Rin's hairstyle, then draw the shape of her neck and some of her collar from her maid's uniform.

Step 7.


For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the ruffle for he apron that she wears, then sketch in the small tie in front of her neck collar. Erase the mistakes you made through out the lesson as well as the guides.

Step 8.


When all is said and done, you should end up with a drawing that looks like the girl you see before you now. All you have to do next is add some color.

Description: When it comes to anime I'm not familiar with, I often don't like to talk too much about characters I make drawing lessons on because I don't know enough about them. Having said that, I was asked to make a lesson on "how to draw Mey-Rin from Black Butler", step by step. From what I understand Mey-Rin is a character who works as a maid in the Phantomhive household. She has a pinkish-purple colored hair and she wears a short do. In this lesson her face is has a serious expression and she is also dressed wearing her signature maid attire. Drawing Mey-Rin should be pretty simple as long as you follow the steps.
