How to Draw Kate Beckinsale, Underworld

Step 1.


Draw the shape for Kate's head and then sketch in her facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Here you will begin sketching out the actual shape of her face and be sure to make it real feminine like. Next, start the process of getting her hair sketched in which is just the front part of her hairline for now. Remember, Selene has short straigh   

Step 3.


Next, draw in her eyes starting with the eyebrows. Notice how the eyebrows wharf into the upper sides of her nose. When the brows are drawn, you can start the process of getting her actual eye shapes sketched out. The top lids should be dark, bold, a   

Step 4.


Next, lightly sketch in her nose, and then draw the mouth and or lips like so. Add some shading along the center of the lips, and then sketch in her bottom eyelashes.

Step 5.


For the last drawing step all you have to do is sketch out the rest of her hairstyle, and try to do this in a patient manner so the style comes out looking like it does in the main image. Next, draw the shoulders, neck, and add some detailing to her    

Step 6.


After you cleaned up your drawing your sketch should come out looking like the one you see here.

Description: I’m sure all you Underworld fans are familiar with the fact that there is a new addition that will be added to the story. It’s called Underworld: Awakening, and from what I understand the film or storyline is based on how humans start to uncover the secret world of vampire and Lycans. Today I will be showing you how to draw Kate Benkinsale, or Selene, step by step. Selene is the main protagonist in all of the Underworld movies, and her image has pretty much stayed the same for the most part. She still wears the same leather suit and trench coat, and as far as her personal features go, she still has the short, razor straight jet black hair with ice blue colored eyes. I have always thought that Selene was an awesome character, and my favorite Underworld is the first one. The old rule stays the same even for this movie; the first is always the best. Unless of course the storyline and character creation are more developed like it was with the Evil Dead series. Army of Darkness is my favorite out of the three that has been made, and I think it’s because Ash was developed more, and the storyline was a bit more entertaining. The first two Evil Dead films tried to lean more on the horror side, whereas Army of Darkness leaned more on the comical side. Anyways in the new Underworld movie Selene will fight against the humans because as I said before, humans are now aware of Lycans, or werewolves, and vampires. I actually want to go see the movie which is why I didn’t want to read any more articles because I didn’t want to spoil watching the film for myself, or for others. I don’t know about you but, I do not like it when people try to tell me what a movie is about, or what will happen in the film.
