How To Draw Ice Skates
1
As you know, you wear ice skates as though they were normal boots. So, roughly sketch a pair of boots. The boot on the left is smaller and overlaps the bigger one of the right.
2
On the sketch of the boot, we'll begin to draw the ice skate itself. An ice skate is more rounded and smooth than a boot, so on the right side, make sure the skate curves in a bit. The bottom of the boot is curved and smooth. On the top, start drawin
3
Now that you have the basic outline of the boot, erase the guidelines from the original sketch. Of course, you need laces to tie up the skate with, so start by drawing two small bows on each of the skates. Down the left side of both skates, draw a fe
4
Add more detail to the bow by drawing the inside and the laces that hang- two from each bow. On the front bottom of the skate, begin to draw the blade with a pair of curved lines attached to what looks like a stick.
5
Finish the blade on the skate on the right. Make sure the blade goes slightly past the front of the boot but a little further behind the boot. (Be sure to erase the lines inside the laces that hang!)
