Let's start by drawing the lining for the bottom part of the top lip. These lines are very straight and angled, so if you would like to use a ruler you can choose to do so. Start at the left, then work your way up, around and down.

2

You will now draw in the top lip and make sure that the lip isn't neither too thin, or too thick.

3

Instead of the bottom lip, you will draw in the clean looking style of teeth. This graffiti style mouth will be open.

4

Here we will do the same thing as we did when drawing the top lip. We will draw the top portion of the bottom lip. This is again a step where there are straight angled lines.

5

To complete the formation of the mouth you will draw in the bottom lip.

6

Now for the detailing. These marks will be shaded and glossed in. The bubble like shapes on the lips is where you will make the gloss effect, and the other marks will be for the texture definition. If you made mistakes erase them now.

7

With no coloring done, this is how your graffiti style mouth looks. If you want to add color which I'm sure you do, go ahead and do so now.

Description: I have a few lessons that are going to be extremely bright and slightly different from the norm I have been uploading lately. Here is some cool graffiti art that I was inspired to create. First up, we will tackle the task of learning "how to draw graffiti lips" or mouth, step by step. I can not tell you how much I love how these lips came out. The style, shape, and detailing of the mouth is so awesome. I don't often pat myself on the back, but for this I have to say I did a good job. The simplicity to drawing graffiti lips with this lesson is great. I'm confident that folks of all skill levels will be able to try this tut. So have a go at it, and let me know how you made out.
