To draw the original Godzilla, first start with a circular guideline for placement of the head. Then, work on the upper and lower jaws, especially the brow line which connects the snout. Go ahead and move to the next step which is to draw the eyes, s

Here you will begin using the guides you made in step three. Sketch out the snout, head, and bottom mandible. Draw the strong looking jaw structure, then add the shape of Godzilla's thick neck.

Continue to work on Godzilla's physique. Do this by drawing the very strong and toned shoulders. You will sketch in the definition on the chest, neck, and collar bone area. Make some last minute touches then you can move to step six.

Draw the arms, forearms, and then his hands and claws. Remember to take your time as you will need to sketch in all the definition on Godzilla's body.

The last thing to do is sketch out Godzilla's spines on his back. These spines should look like bones or a trail/track of an exoskeleton. Erase the mistakes and guides when you finished.

This monster's design has changed over the decades, and it's a very interesting metamorphosis. Be sure to get yourself the proper drawing tools to begin, like a pencil, paper and eraser.
