How to Draw Dory from Finding Dory
1
You will begin drawing the shape of Dory's body but when it's viewed like this it looks more like a head or face.
2
Use the shape you just made to sketch out the creation of Dory's face. The top of the head should slop, then flatten out. Add the smile line as well.
3
Using the facial guidelines, draw in Dory's round eyes followed by the cheek bump from her enormous grin or smile. Add some shading above the eyeball and make sure the opposite side bubbles out.
4
Draw the bottom part of Dory's mouth so she looks like she is smiling. Add the top row of teeth, then give Dory a tongue.
6
We are almost done drawing Dory from Finding Dory. All you have to do here is draw the long dorsal fin, then the other pectoral fin.
7
Does anybody know what kind of fish Dory is? She is a Regal Blue Tang. Add the ribs on the fins and then draw and color in the strip on her pectoral fin.
8
Lastly draw the marking line that is in a very wavy pattern to create the black area of her markings. Once that is complete you can draw the iris' and color in the pupils. Erase your guidelines too.

Description: Here's some news that you may not have heard. I just found out that there is going to be a movie called 'Finding Dory'. It is supposed to be the sequel to 'Finding Nemo' which was a very popular film back in 2003 and the characters from it are still very popular today. This lesson will show you how to draw the star of the show, Dory. Dory was my favorite character besides Nemo. She was funny, clumsy, and full of love. She is also a very sensitive fish whose feelings get hurt easy. I am super stoked to find out that Finding Dory is going to be coming out in 2016. I hope you guys like this tut, adios amigos!
